We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the Save The Creators platform:

  • Email address — Provided when you sign the Declaration for Creators, join the movement via our newsletter signup, or create a membership account.
  • Name (optional) — Provided if you choose to display your name publicly as a Declaration signatory.
  • Anonymous usage data — Page views and basic interaction metrics collected through privacy-respecting analytics (no personal identifiers, no cookies).

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Email address — To send movement updates, advocacy news, and information about Save The Creators initiatives. To confirm your Declaration signature. To communicate about your membership.
  • Name — To display on the public Declaration signatory list, only with your explicit consent.
  • Usage data — To understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve the experience. This data is aggregated and anonymous.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Resend — Email delivery service for sending newsletters and transactional emails. Resend processes your email address to deliver messages on our behalf. Resend Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. Our analytics solution (Plausible) is cookie-free. If we introduce any cookies in the future (for example, for authenticated sessions), this policy will be updated and you will be notified.

5. Data Retention

We retain your email address and any associated account data for as long as you remain a member or subscriber. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see below). Upon request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days.

You have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Unsubscribe — Opt out of email communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

We honor these rights regardless of your jurisdiction. We aim to respond to all requests within 30 days.

Save The Creators is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
